Enjoy the power and beauty of
youth. You might never understand the
power and beauty of your youth until they are faded, but trust me, in 20 years,
you will look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp
now how many possibilities that laid before you and how fabulous you looked.
youthfulness should be about
effectiveness or should I say efficiency. How efficient do you utilize the
opportunities open to you? worrying
about the future is like trying to start a car that has no engine, it is
tantamount to thinking about things that might never happen.
Enjoy the power of your
youth, work hard, invest your time and effort in things that makes you happy.
do things that give you self satisfaction, things that please you, things that
you will be remembered for.
all work and no play makes
Jack a dull boy. play while you can, sing, dance, travel, joke. what's the
point of playing football at age 60 or engaging in track events at 70. what are
those acts, games that make you happy. you can never be a youth twice. remember
to be decent, avoid being reckless.
don't waste your time on jealousy, it's your race, nobody can run it for you. sometimes you're
ahead, other times you are behind, nonetheless, it's your race-your life long
personal race.
Explore your town, read the
directions, even if you don't follow them, reduce or avoid reading beauty
magazines, they will only make you feel ugly. Enjoy the time you spend with
adults and old people especially your parents. share their memory, laugh at
their mistakes but don't forget to learn from it, more so you never know when they'll depart
this world. be nice to the younger ones
around you, they are the best link to
your past and might be a bridge in the future.
Make a lot of friends but
understand that friends come and go, so
hold to the reliable ones. listen to a lot of advice but heed a few because
some will bring you down while others will lift you up.
remember to respect everyone,
pass the compliments, never keep a grudge, don't mess with people's emotion,
don't snitch and above all never forget to serve you God during your youth!!!
