IBADAN NORTH EDUCATION GENERAL CDS GROUP VISITS OLUYOLE CHESHIRE HOME, IBADAN

Oluyole Cheshire home was founded in 1959 and later in 1968 they moved to it permanent site-near the polytechnic Ibadan. The home was established to carter for the handicapped and to serve as home for those children abandoned by the society that brought them into existence. They carter for both males and females, irrespective of race, background nor creed. The home is run and supported by voluntary donators and subvention from the government of Oyo State.
Two members of the CDS Group, Udeh Chidimma and Ukannah Ralph spoke to the residences of the home about issues of life; importance of Education; staying healthy and about NYSC. However, not only were the residences of the home excited and thrilled to have the corps members with them, they also interacted amazingly with them. They received gifts, groceries, clothes, shoes etc. presented by the members of the CDS Group with gratitude. They blessed corp members with their prayers, after which lots of photographs were taken between corp members and the residences of the Oluyole Cheshire Home.
