Counsel has everything to do for the
fulfillment of your dream. A wise counsel can make all the difference in your
life. It can be the difference between success and failure. God did not create
you to function like an island. Rather, He has placed people with godly counsel
around you so that you can achieve your dream.
Your dream without adequate counsel will be limited. Simba (in the Lion King) without the counsel of the wide pig and the other little guy would have died before his time. He was literally wearing himself out from the incident of his father’s death, but he got counseled and encouraged and became the leader of a clan. Even after then he still had his counsel. Stop struggling! You don't have to fall apart when you can receive help from godly counsel.

I realize that the problem is actually not having a company but it is finding the right company; because truly no man lives all by himself, as we all interact with one another and with the society one way or the other… “He that walks with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed….”. So, how do I find the right people around me? Firstly, the right people are God’s people (they understand the role of God in everything and trust God for everything), the right people are good people, the right people are knowledgeable people (they have information and possess an unquenched taste for knowledgeable), the right people are changers (they are not waiting to be changed but looking for how to make things better) and these people are not invisible to us. What we need to do his open our physical eyes and that of our spirit too and we will see them.
You
alone can determine who gives and take from you; John Maxwell says “you attract
who you are”. Some of us even have them already, but we are only faithful to
our own thoughts and would never give in to others. Stop it! Recognize the
people that God has positioned in your life today and be open to their counsel.
Your upliftment depends on their wisdom because you do not know it all. Find
your company of wise counselors and respect their inputs. Be humble enough to
learn wisdom from them. This is what wise people do.
Note:…Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude
of counsellors there is safety…Strategic planning is the key to warfare; to win, you need a lot of good counsel…
