BEAUTY: GET THE LOOK

By THONIA IDEGWU

So I am going to teach you how to upgrade from a hyper-pigmented, Uneven complexioned, unequal brow, black spotted, pale looking face to this really gorgeous diva as shown in the picture above. I really wish i could do a video on how to get this look, but I will try my best to describe as vividly as possible.

Before we begin on how I was able to pull this look together, kindly scroll down to "How To Get A Make-up Friendly Face" somewhere on this blog, as that is a basic of make-up application - the face must be make-up friendly/ready.

To begin:

PRODUCTS (IN ORDER OF USAGE)
1) NYX HD Studio primer base
2) Davies brow pencil (3,18 & black) + mascara wand/spoolie
3) ELF concealer palette in Dark + angled brush
4) Kiss She Eyeliner
5) Zaron mascara
6) Iman foundation Clay 3 + round-tip foundation brush
7) Miss Rose foundation no.3 + flat-tip foundation brush
8) Fashion Fair powder no. F1 (albino shade) + wedge (rubber powder puff)/beauty blender
9) powder brush
10) Sleek blush in Flamingo + blush brush
11) Marykate & Ashley Illuminating Bronzer + Your ring finger
12) NYX Lipliner in Rose
13) FM Glossy Lipstick in Candy Pink
14) Zaron under eye liner in Arabian Knight

Ah! Its a lot bah? 14 products! LoL

So we begin- onto a make-up friendly face, we apply the (1) in little quantities by dotting it round the face. Spread immediately with your fingers. Then we use the (2) in no.18 and sketch the desired brow shape and fill, after which you use the no.3 to fill from and inch inwards to the arc and then the black to fill from the arc to the tip of your brow wing. Blend with a spoolie so the colours will smooth into themselves. From your (3) Pick a shade lighter and clean the bottom of the brow, then pick your shade and clean the top of the brow, use the spoolie to brush the edges together to create a unibrow. Use (4)  to line very close to your lashes then stop and create a wing pointing towards the tip of your brow wing, then connect the wing and the liner to get a winged liner. Use (5) by placing the wand on your lashes and rolling the handle in a circular motion.

Using (6), dot the whole face and use the brush to spread the foundation consciously avoiding the eye and brow area. Remember the unibrow, yes we must gently clean that with the foundation brush using slow downwards stroke towards the nose and upwards towards the forehead.  Pick a little of (7) with the brush and apply directly under the eye area stretching towards your cheeks, on the bridge of your nose, on the top of your lips (cupids bow) and your chin. Then use a powder wedge/beauty blender and dab on the (8) in these places that you applied the (7). Use (9) by lightly brushing the empty brush over all the areas the (8) was applied on just to blend out harsh lines.

Apply (10) with the brush by making a fish face (suck in your cheeks) and starting from the deepest hole, drag the brush towards the middle of your ear, continue until you get your desired amount (if you apply too much just use your face powder not the (8) o, to reduce it, by applying over the blush in circular motions). Then with your ring finger, apply the (11) on the bridge of your nose, cupids bow and chin, this way when you step into a dark place, those places will reflect.

Full your whole lip with (12), then go over the sane lip with (13) to add watery shine.

Finally, line your water line by pulling down just under your lower eye lids and gently rubbing the (14), to and fro on the shiney inner of your eye.

Do you look like me now 😜😜?? Thank me later. Please drop your questions or comments below.
